Fractal Journeys - 06
Julian... ?
Flush with the seeming success of my previous journey, I was eager to get back within the fractional dimensions to see if I might be able to find the being known now as Julian.
Yet this time, days went by with no results. I felt lost and alone, and even my friend Seven Wings would not show. Was there something wrong with my technique? Why could I only see the most distant flashes of form and color, with none approaching me as they had before?
Have I rushed too far too quickly? I had attempted to will myself further into the fractional worlds, but every time I took a 'step' forward towards a fleeting burst of light and colour, it receeded immediately into the background of chaos. This only strengthened my resolve, and I concentrated even more diligently.
To no avail! The work is exhausting, and I must rest a while.
